The Way We Think About Charity is Dead Wrong

 

“You can make $50 million in a year selling violent video games to kids and they put you on the cover of Wired magazine; but if you make $500,000 as a nonprofit executive director working on solving some of the world’s toughest problems they will run you out of town.” – Dan Pallotta

Have you ever wanted to say something but you couldn’t find the words? Dan Pallotta found the words to describe how I feel about charities. We need to reward charities and non-profits that have big dreams, that hire the best of the best, and that aren’t scared to try new things.
